Online pedometer... a good training tool!

Hello! I'd like to tell you all about Gmaps Pedometer!

Runners who don't wear a watch may find this online pedometer quite useful. The link is http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/

- Begin by typing your starting point (address) into the "Jump to:" feild
- Click "go" and you will get a map of your starting point
- Click the "Start recording" button on the left and DOUBLE CLICK along the map, following your running route
- As you click, Gmaps Pedometer will count your kilometers

You can do other sorts of things as well, like switch from miles to kms, count calories, and even account for elevation in your run.

So there is a handy tool I use as part of my training process.

Hope your all getting motivated!

Oh, and... ahem, any registrants for the race yet ... other than Jenn?!

Wow... this this is AWESOME!Turns out that my old "normal" jogging route is 4.8 km, and I used to do that all the time without pushing myself. I've been a bit nervous about getting back into running, since I've been out of it for so long (and still haven't started training for this race...) but this gives me a big boost of confidence!!!!

Thank you, Lisa!
