Blagh Blagh Blagh!!!

Dear Everyone,

I'm reading but not currently writing as I have nothing to report. I have been sick for six freakin days now and am slowly starting to lose my mind. On a positive note, I met someone else who does this run every year and likes it because it is so flat - for those who are new to running that might make it feel easier.

My goal over the fall was to do some cross-training. I sighned up for Pilates and went to my first class on Tuesday. As expected, I disliked it... Posture blagh, core strength blagh, balance blagh, flexibility double blagh,

Oh well, I knew this wouldn't be my favourite and if it can improve my posture than it can't be a totally bad thing.

I'm hoping that I'm better by next week when I'm flying with the girls to Toronto for five days and looking forward to some nice runs on the boardwalk.

Have to stop neglecting the kids now... KT

Hey Katie!

I hated yoga for the first bunch of times I went. But I knew that meant I needed it...for the posture, for the calming of the mind, etc...I forced myself to do it for 6 weeks and decided that, if I still hated it then, I could quit. It's almost 2 years later and I am still going. Definitely give pilates a chance!
Hope you feel better soon. My throat is scratchy, today. I hope I don't get what you have!
